We're doing great things in Gippsland and we look great doing it.

We are Yarram. We don't fit well into categories and boxes. Not east, nor west. Not north, nor south. We're the engine, the heart and the soul of Gippsland - The Middle of Everywhere. We're hard-working, adventure-loving, and smile-wearing. We're farmers and fishers, loggers and labourers, entrepreneurs and entertainers. We're proud of our place and always happy to welcome travellers along the South Gippsland Highway and Grand Strzelecki Track. Our reach touches Agnes Falls and the best end of Ninety Mile Beach, the fishing at Port Albert and the lyrebirds of Tarra-Bulga National Park. We love our local Strzelecki Koalas and the Nooramunga Marine & Coastal Park. We're responsible for the Tarra Festival, The Yarram Rotary Art Show, the Yarram Eisteddfod, and your favourite milk. Let us know you're here with the #yarram tag on social media and we'll say g'day.

Yarram is the perfect stopping and stepping off point for visitors to Central Gippsland - centrally located in The Middle of Everywhere between many of the region's best natural attractions, with the 90 Mile Beach, Tarra Bulga National Park, Strezlecki Ranges and seaside town of Port Albert just a short drive away. It is also a commercial hub for many of the smaller coastal towns nearby.

As you stroll through the historic township, you'll come across an eclectic mix of trendy cafes, craft shops, opp shops, boutiques and stores that stock fresh, local produce.

In recent times, Yarram has become well known for its vibrant murals crafted by Mongolian street artist, Heesco. These iconic murals have been painted on the side of many buildings in Yarram and illustrate the story of the town's history and its people.
