Come along to the Port Welshpool Maritime Museum between 10am and 4pm on January 4 & 5 for the Seadays Festival. For just a gold coin donation you can view natural, social and commercial artifacts from this fishing village, displayed in the Smith family home, the first permanent house built in Port Welshpool. Guest speaker Cheryl Glowery, local historian and author, will speak at 1:30pm on Saturday, January 4 about The Long Jetty. There will also be a photographic exhibition, an old fashioned Devonshire afternoon tea, and trash/treasure stalls to browse.
